Capucine Atelier Floral is a French floral design studio founded by Cécile Detienne in 2011. Inspired by gardens, landscapes and fine art, the studio creates refined floral designs for destination weddings in Paris, Provence and throughout France.
With a refined, organic and garden-inspired aesthetic, each celebration is approached as a complete creative project, thoughtfully designed around the venue, the season and the atmosphere imagined with our clients.

Cécile DETIENNE
The name Capucine was inspired by the nasturtiums that grew there in abundance. Their distinctive shapes and vibrant colours became connected to Cécile’s childhood memories and to the creative sensitivity that continues to influence her work today.
As a child, I spent all my time with my grandmother in the garden and vegetable patch.
MY STORY
From Landscape Architecture to Floral Design
Before becoming a floral designer, Cécile studied garden and landscape architecture in Belgium and worked as a project manager for ten years. This experience developed her understanding of space, proportion, movement and the relationship between plants and their surroundings.
After moving to Alsace, she returned to school to earn her florist qualification. She continued developing her craft through work in floral shops and training with professional floral designers before founding Capucine Atelier Floral in 2011.
Today, she brings this combination of botanical knowledge, spatial design and floral expertise to bespoke weddings and editorial celebrations throughout France.
