About Cécile DETIENNE
When I was a child, I spent all my time with my grandmother in the garden and the vegetable garden. The Capucine was a flower that grew in abundance and intrigued me greatly with its shape and bright colors. That’s why I wanted to choose this name for my business. To remind me of my sweet childhood memories with the one who made me discover the harmony of colors, the choice, the varieties and the perfume of flowers.
I enjoy looking at the leaves that grow on the trees in springtime and hunting on flea markets. I also love garden roses, peonies and the English gardens of Gertrude Jekyll. More than anything, I love Brussels, the great outdoors and my dog Vickie. On the other hand, I hate peppers, nonsense, elevators, conifers and mess in the studio.
My background as a wedding florist and wedding designer
I have always been attracted by plants, so I studied garden and landscape architecture in a school in Belgium. After 10 years as a project manager, I had the opportunity to leave my country for Alsace and I said to myself: “Cécile, if you have to change your life, do it thoroughly and without regret”.
That’s when I went back to school to get my florist diploma. Working in different stores, training with florists designers. Encouraged by professionals, I finally decided to open my own floral workshop in 2011. Capucine Atelier Floral, wedding florist, was born.

Capucine Atelier Floral is a workshop of floral creations, but above all a place of exchange, creation, inspiration and passion. We offer wedding florist services, scenography, floral decoration and wedding design.
Workshops for professionals
After having dedicated ourselves mainly to weddings, we are now expanding the sharing of precious moments by offering workshops for professionals. We are perfecting our eco-responsibility approach through the choice of flowers, arrangements and service providers we work with. In short, we share our vision of the profession with other florists who want to test new approaches to development. And, of course, we continue to work hard to beautify your most beautiful days, those that will mark your life forever.

01 SCENOGRAPHY
Future brides and grooms, what if the wedding décor of your dreams was possible? Through a selection of details, accessories, furniture and seasonal flowers, we put at your service creativity, passion, love of work well done and listening to you so that your event looks like you.
02 FLORAL DECORATION
Free-moving bridal bouquets, centerpieces, planted ceilings, flowered doors, bridal or bridesmaids’ crowns, boutonnieres… We imagine for you the floral decor of your signature wedding.
03 WORKSHOPS
During these workshops, themes such as the bridal bouquet, the composition of a centerpiece, the floral hanging, the large decorations, the buffet decor, the ceremony decor, but also the communication and the development strategy will be discussed.
04 ONE TO ONE
This is a two-week training course, one of which is held in the workshop and the other remotely. It is more precisely a private course that allows you to benefit from an individualization in the conception and the development of this session “à la carte”. Covered by the FAFCEA, all funding agencies and Pôle Emploi. Our training center is certified Qualiopi.
