Urban and minimalist wedding inspiration…

The arrival of spring and the return of beautiful lights: elements brought together to create an editorial dedicated to marriage. We wanted it to be really different, innovative and inspiring in order to spark new ideas with brides-to-be. This shoot is focused on beautiful materials, simplicity, design, modernity and minimalism.

Let’s meet!

To do this work, I surrounded myself with a team of service providers with whom the feeling went very well and who had the same vision of things and a real desire to create an urban, modern and minimalist shoot. Elodie, my crime partner for several shootings took care of the shots. Such magnificent work. Majenia imagined styling and stationery: she created an inspiration board that perfectly matches today’s expectations. I took care of the floral part and I wanted a totally extraordinary floral work by achieving a beautiful alchemy of textures and materials. The Salon by Lilou took care of our model’s hairstyle to create a truly current hairstyle. The Just a Perfect Day boutique kindly lent us a magnificent dress from the Victoire Vermeulen collection: the Aléria model. The jewelry comes from LS Buecher, a brand new jewelry brand with sober and daring lines. Our models of the day are Anaïs and Hugo, a charming couple.

Trend

Current weddings are country-style, bohemian in pastel shades. We decided to think outside the box by creating a modern atmosphere with neutral tones in shades of gray, beige, bronze, white and ivory by combining design objects. To host our inspiration shoot, we got in touch with the Würth Museum in Erstein, in Alsace, very excited by our approach. This museum of modern and contemporary art, built about ten years ago, is perfect for welcoming us. This building has an architecture with clean lines associated with large areas of smooth concrete with beautiful rectilinear openings on the outside.

Modern styling

We have chosen to create two universes in real symbiosis: a ceremony space and a pretty set table. The common thread of the universes has been the use of dried flowers and leaves, in association with the last buttercups in the South of France with fine branches of white phalaenopsis orchids. All these elements are making a comeback in floral decoration recently…

The ceremonial corner was placed outside, we had spotted a smooth concrete wall with a large vertical line that launched towards the sky. This place was perfect … Mix colors, textures, contrast dried, natural leaves with the modernity of the place. I created a beautiful frame, like a table, for our loving couple with pretty palm leaves, Pampas herbs and gleaned elements dried by me.

Refined…

Majenia has highlighted the sober, modern table space, without overloading with elements with pure lines by associating colors in a neutral color chart. She selected very trendy and modern tableware with furniture to echo the spirit of the museum. Floral arrangements are arranged on the table where there is a subtle mixture of natural flowers and dried flowers.

It’s with great pleasure that I let you discover each other’s work. We hope to echo with newlyweds who would like to turn to an urban, modern and minimalist marriage.

This shoot was published on two magnificent blogs dedicated to marriage:  100 Layer Cake et La Mariée Aux Pieds Nus.
